About Chad
Chad Petrovay is the Collections Database Administrator at the newly formed Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. Coming from a background in both archaeology and instructional technology, he spent the last two years managing the collections database at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland, where he instituted web initiatives to increase exposure of the collection through Facebook, Google Earth and ArtStor. He holds a BA in Sociology/Anthropology from St Mary’s College of Maryland, and a Masters in Archaeology (Egypt, Near East, India) from St Chad’s College/Durham University.
